UPDATES FROM RYAN
Goodwill Columbus Team,
Grove City Opening! I am thrilled to announce that the grand opening of our Grove City location was a record-breaking success! Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our team, we welcomed an unprecedented number of shoppers and donors, along with community supporters to our new, multi-functional location on August 18th. Additionally, the ADS team welcomed 17 individuals to our site and our workforce development team is about to launch our 5G Broadband technician training program there (tell your friends/families). All of your efforts have set a new standard for future openings. Let’s keep this momentum going!
Work and Community Services North Open House Preview: Mark your calendars for September 5th as we will be hosting an Open House to showcase our new facility, programs, and services at our 6633 Doubletree Avenue location. It’s a fantastic opportunity to see firsthand the impact of our work and to connect with colleagues and community members.
Art Studio Supply Drive: The Goodwill Art Studio & Gallery is collecting new school supplies for Motherful, a nonprofit organization that supports single mothers. Donations can be made at 50 Robinwood Ave, Whitehall, until August 15th. Additionally, on August 15th, during the Studio’s open hours, Goodwill will be giving away school art supplies.
“Goodwill on Wheels”: We are excited to introduce our new “Goodwill on Wheels” donation trailer. By going to our website, individuals will be able to rent the donation trailer for free. Goodwill will drop off and pick up the trailer to make donating to Goodwill as easy as possible. It’s perfect for neighborhood, school, church, or business donation drives.
