Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland + Goodwill Columbus
Goodwill Columbus is proud to work with young do gooders each year in partnership with Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland.
Twice a year, girl scouts are invited to take part in Good Turn Day by donating gently used items to Goodwill. Scouts can stop by any of our Goodwill locations, make a donation, and earn their special Good Turn Day badge!
About The Partnership:
Good Turn Day in Columbus, Ohio invites Girl Scouts to make a difference by donating gently used items to Goodwill Columbus while earning a special patch. This hands-on program teaches the power of giving back, showing how small actions can create big community impact.
Participants declutter their spaces, practice generosity, and learn how donated goods support job training and second chances in our community. By extending the life of everyday items, girls discover sustainability, kindness, and responsibility.
Good Turn Day empowers young leaders to do good, feel good, and see how their contributions help strengthen Columbus for everyone together.

About Girl Scouts
Girl Scouts create the world they want to live in and strive to make it better every single day. They explore their strengths, take on new challenges, and can always be themselves, regardless of background or ability.
Supported by adult volunteers and mentors right here in our community, as well as millions of alums around the globe, Girl Scouts lead the way as they discover who they are and how they can make the future a brighter place.
