Volunteer Your Time

We couldn’t do what we do for our participants without a committed volunteers ready to offer their time and talents to help others.

At Goodwill Columbus, we rely on volunteers that are ready to offer their time and talents to help others. Every little bit helps. We hope you’ll join us!

As a volunteer at Goodwill Columbus, you will have an opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of those with developmental disabilities and other barriers, right here in our community. Whether you desire to work directly with our participants, help with an event, or engage in a variety of fundraising activities to support our many programs, your skills, talents and interests are valued and have a place at Goodwill Columbus.

Auxiliary Groups

Goodwill Columbus has four different councils and auxiliary groups that support our programs:  Barrier Breakers, for young professionals who sponsor fundraising events that support Goodwill’s mission; the Business Advisory Council, for business professionals who wish to serve in an advisory capacity for our Workforce Development program; Families and Friends Network, family members and friends of adults enrolled in Goodwill’s social, recreational and educational programs; and the Goodwill Service Board, women from the community-at-large who engage in fundraising programs and service projects with participants in several Goodwill programs.
