Goodwill Columbus can offer volunteer opportunities to students to help them fulfill community service hours, and to provide a real world experience in the field of developmental disabilities.
Individual Volunteers
We enjoy working with anyone with the time to volunteer with us. Our participants enjoy seeing new faces and our volunteers often tell us it’s an experience they’ll never forget.
Group Volunteers
If you are part of a group that would like to volunteer together, we can design a customized volunteer activity for your company or organization. For more information about how you can get involved, contact Vicki Christian, Community Outreach Coordinator, at 614.583.0280.
Auxiliary Groups
Goodwill Columbus has four different councils and auxiliary groups that support our programs: Barrier Breakers, for young professionals who sponsor fundraising events that support Goodwill’s mission; the Business Advisory Council, for business professionals who wish to serve in an advisory capacity for our Workforce Development program; Families and Friends Network, family members and friends of adults enrolled in Goodwill’s social, recreational and educational programs; and the Goodwill Service Board, women from the community-at-large who engage in fundraising programs and service projects with participants in several Goodwill programs.
