We hope you’re continuing to share our new mission statement (Helping people build lives of possibility and purpose) and updated values. I’ve had several conversations with employees and the feedback has been very positive.

May is also Mental Health Awareness Month. I want to thank you for the work you do every day with those in our community to help end the stigma against mental health. I appreciate you and I look forward to seeing you soon.

We are thrilled to congratulate the inaugural class of the Goodwill Clean Tech Accelerator!
Over the last four weeks, these individuals have been hard at work in our brand-new Solar Skills Lab. This isn’t just classroom learning—they’ve spent their time on a full-scale training roof, gaining the hands-on experience needed to hit the ground running as certified solar installers.

Spotlights
Meet Ray
Meet Ray! Ray is the General Manager of our Custodial team and has been with Goodwill Columbus since 2022. After retiring early from the Air Force, Ray was interested in getting back into the workforce and Goodwill provided the perfect opportunity!
Ray joined Goodwill with his bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in public administration. Additionally, Ray’s mother used to own a cleaning business and he would often help her run her operation! In his current position, Ray travels frequently around Columbus, managing relationships and interacting with both employees and clients.
