UPDATES FROM RYAN
Goodwill Columbus Team,
March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, a time dedicated to honoring the achievements and contributions of individuals with disabilities in our community. At Goodwill Columbus, we take great pride in our longstanding commitment to empowering individuals with disabilities through our programs and services, a legacy dating back to 1939 in Columbus.
As we commemorate this important month, I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation for your dedication and commitment to serving individuals with disabilities. Your efforts pave the way for independence and the transformative power of work, making a profound difference both within our community and our organization.
Additionally, I’d like to express my gratitude to each and every one of you as we celebrate Employee Appreciation Week from March 1st to 8th. This is our opportunity to acknowledge your hard work, achievements, and invaluable contributions to Goodwill Columbus. You truly embody the spirit of our organization, serving as the driving force behind our mission and vision.
Lastly, I am thrilled to announce the revitalization of our tenured employee recognition program. On March 7th, during the Managers Meeting, we honored those employees who have reached significant milestones, including 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35 years of service with us. Employees who have reached 5 years of service will be recognized in the field, at their worksites. These individuals have demonstrated remarkable loyalty, dedication, and excellence, contributing significantly to our organization’s growth and success.
We are immensely proud of their achievements and deeply grateful for their dedicated service. I eagerly anticipate celebrating their stories and accomplishments at the Managers Meeting, as well as throughout the year as we continue to recognize employees for their service.
Thank you for being an integral part of the Goodwill Columbus team.
Ryan
