UPDATES FROM RYAN
Goodwill Columbus Team,
Thank you for providing feedback through the quarterly Vision survey. We conduct this survey to make sure we are doing our best to live out our vision statement that “all individuals are embraced as valued and dignified members of our community” and to give you a way to provide input.
I’m excited to share the 2023 results in this edition of Good Vibes. The overall highlight is that 96% of our employees take pride in working for Goodwill and supporting our mission. Also, throughout the past year, we noticed positive trends in several survey questions.
Most importantly, when you provide feedback, I want you to know we act on it. For example:
• We revised the format of the survey so you can share your thoughts directly through open comment sections.
• The department groups were broadened, giving employees greater confidence that their feedback is confidential.
• In the next month, you will hear about a new employee recognition program based on your input. Stay tuned for more details!
• You will also be hearing about an exciting new employee benefit in the coming months, based on your feedback. Bottom line, we are listening to you and appreciate the feedback.
Finally, in celebration of Goodwill Columbus’ 85th anniversary this year, we plan to feature 85 individuals—employees or those we serve. Please reach out to Courtney Green at [email protected] in Marketing with your recommendations. We know there are incredible stories to share about our colleagues and those we assist. This is your opportunity to let us know.
I appreciate your dedication to Goodwill Columbus every day!
Ryan
