Isaac has been a dedicated presence at the Goodwill Art Studio and Gallery four days a week for the past year and a half, initially learning about the program from his service coordinator and mother.
For Isaac, the studio is far more than just a place to create; it’s a vital social outlet and a constructive way to fill his time. He explains that boredom can be detrimental to his well-being, but the Studio gives him something meaningful to look forward to each week.
He has made many friends here, including AJ, Colleen, and Helen. Isaac is deeply focused on his work, even creating special pieces for the local police department, which in turn, has gifted him police badges for his collection.
Isaac’s commitment to art affirms the Studio’s mission: providing a safe, supportive, and engaging space where artists can thrive, build community, and use their talents to create a fulfilling life.
