Goodwill Columbus opens Clintonville location

Goodwill Columbus is excited to bring the Clintonville community this unique location which features a retail store, donation center, and job training center. The public is invited to donate, shop, and take advantage of our free job training services on-site, which range from 1-on-1 coaching to industry recognized certifications.

This mixed-use 20,000 square foot facility is the first of its kind for Goodwill Columbus and demonstrates the organization’s commitment to bringing its services to new communities.

With this new location, Goodwill Columbus expands its geographic footprint to 12 retail stores, a last chance outlet, an ecommerce facility, 8 attended donation centers, 5 I/DD service locations, and job training services at The South Front Street Job Training Center, The Jerry Hammond Center, The Reeb Center, and 14 Columbus Metropolitan Library locations. There are plans to bring these services to additional communities in 2024.

About Retail

Our retail stores provide a second-chance to more than just the items on the shelves. Goodwill Columbus’ retail operations employs over nearly 400 people each year, for many of whom as a first or “next best” job. Donating and shopping at our Franklin County retail stores and online directly provides opportunities for Central Ohioans.

The retail operations at this Clintonville location will bring jobs to 30 people.

This is Goodwill Columbus’ 12th retail location in Franklin County.

Each year, Goodwill Columbus retail operations divert over 7 million pounds of clothing and goods from Central Ohio landfills.
