FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: September 22, 2025
We are pleased to announce that Kevin Meier has joined Goodwill Columbus as our new Senior Vice President of Retail Growth Strategy and Operations.
With over 25 years of mission-focused leadership, Kevin brings deep expertise in retail thrift operations, building high-performing teams, and using data-driven strategies to drive both business success and mission impact. His career reflects a combination of operational excellence, innovative thinking, and a deep commitment to service.
Kevin most recently served as Senior Vice President of Strategy, Analytics, and Mission Impact at Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana, where he led their business intelligence efforts and retail expansion strategy. His thrift experience largely comes from spending 22 years in previous roles with multiple Goodwill organizations, including as Interim Vice President of Retail Operations at Goodwill of Western Missouri & Eastern Kansas, and over a decade as a Donated Goods Retail Consultant for Goodwill Industries International. In that role, he consulted with more than 75 Goodwill affiliates across the U.S. and abroad, helping organizations optimize retail performance and launch innovative models, including the first Goodwill store in São Paulo, Brazil. Prior to joining GII Kevin spent 9 years with Goodwill Industries of Central Indiana (now Goodwill Industries of Central and Southern Indiana).
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis.
It’s great to have Kevin re-join the Goodwill team!
