The Families and Friends Network of Goodwill iscommitted to creating opportunities for family members of those with disabilities to learn how to help them become and remain vital and contributing citizens of our community. We do this with periodic seminars and workshops including our annual half-day workshop.
This year’s workshop will be the morning of Saturday, March 18th and will be held at the Goodwill Columbus officeon Edgehill Road in Grandview. Our theme is Supporting Individuals with Disabilities; Where to Go and it will include presenters:
- Kim Weimer family liaison for Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities.
- Anne Russell from Franklin County Board of Development Disabilities
- Jamie Kinzelman, director of Goodwill Columbus Supported Living Department.
- Derek Graham attorney with the law firm Onda, LaBurn Rankin & Boggs
- Meet & Greet Participants of Goodwill Social Recreation program.
