art studio & gallery

The Goodwill Art Studio & Gallery is a rewarding environment on so many levels. For the artists who create here, it is a place of self-expression and personal growth. For the volunteers who lend their time, it is a place of fulfillment. And for patrons of the arts, it is a source of inspiring collections and talent.

About

The Goodwill Art Studio & Gallery is a truly unique fine arts program for persons with disabilities and other barriers. Here, through the freedom of creativity, artists are given the opportunity to build self esteem and a sense of personal accomplishment.

This program also provides a remarkable learning experience, as the participants collaborate directly with professional artists and art educators to take their artwork to a higher level. Artists increase their knowledge and discover new skills through exposure to new artistic mediums and collaborative efforts. Each artist works toward achieving individual goals based upon their needs, strengths and desires.

The ultimate goal is to create expressive and high quality artwork that not only provides exposure for the artist, but the opportunity to generate income through the sale of their artwork.

Shop

The Goodwill Art Studio & Gallery features an eclectic collection of art created by artists within the program. In addition to the original art available for purchase, the gallery also features a tremendous selection of artistic products including jewelry, tote bags, ceramic tiles and more.

Most importantly, all proceeds from the sale of items help support the individual artists and for the continued expansion of gallery programming.

The Gallery is open to the public Tuesday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, Wednesday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Thursday 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The Gallery is also open by appointment. Call (614) 583-0200 to schedule. In addition, you can shop with us online at:
