Supported Living
Since 1992, Goodwill Columbus has provided in-home and community
support to individuals and their families. Quality and innovative
services have made Goodwill a leader in the MR/DD community.
We are proud to be one of the largest not-for-profit providers
to individuals with disabilities in central Ohio. We believe that
our dedication to supporting people in all aspects of their lives
sets us apart from other service providers.
We assist individuals in organizing consumer advocacy groups, fitness
classes, recreational activities and vacations, learning sign language,
as well as developing relationships within the community.
Most importantly, Goodwill is there at all times. We provide 24-hour

Testimonials
"My daughter, Brooke, has had Goodwill as her Supported Living
Service Provider for several years now, and we are all quite pleased
with both the quality and caring of her staff. They go well beyond
what is required and really care about Brook and her roommates,
trying to keep life for them as full as possible. With Goodwill,
it truly is supported living."

"I like Goodwill, they are nice to me. They help me out. They
helped me and my wife go to a lot of places. They helped plan my
second honeymoon with my wife. We took a boat ride. Goodwill helped
me when my wife passed away. I like my staff. I like my social workers
and my coordinator."

"My 36-year old mentally retarded son, Lee, has been under
the protective wing of Goodwill for several years. Goodwill's strongest
asset is their staff. Clearly the management sees the value in well-trained,
caring housing staff and front line supervisors. The staff is responsive
and responsible with consumer welfare always at the front. It would
be difficult to imagine Lee's life without these people."
